This February, Lawndale's Special Needs Family Support Group hosted its first public resource fair at our Kit-Carson campus. Families had the chance to learn about local resources from partner organizations, including Providence, ADDAP, SALA International Women Organization, Department of Mental Health, WIC, Vista Community Clinic, Ball & Faith, Westsude Regional Center, Richstone Family Center, and the South Bay Center for Counseling.

Our district is excited to kick off Black History Month with an important opportunity for students to engage with African American history and culture. To kick off the month, our RAP program is conducting field trips to the California African American Museum.
