District and school staff, along with parent leaders, recently visited the LBUSD Center of Black Student Excellence. During the visit, they had the opportunity to explore the center’s programs and resources, observe best practices in action, and gather ideas for supporting student success in our own schools.

Throughout February, schools across the Lawndale Elementary School District came together to celebrate Black History Month through meaningful learning experiences that honored the achievements and contributions of Black leaders past and present.
